This site contains everything you need to know to work for us. You MUST review it regularly for updates. The information contained in these pages forms part of the contract you have with us and is subject to change from time to time.

Please thoroughly check this site for any information you require before contacting any member of staff - it is company policy that questions that are adequately answered here will be replied to with a standard mail asking you to revisit the site. If you are unable to find the answer to your question then please contact the relevant department.

If you're a new writer, we extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of all the Deveraux and Deloitte Team. In order to ensure the best possible start, you'll need to read the New Researcher's Guide (this can always be found from the tab at the top of the page). It covers the basic knowledge required to successfully get work assigned to you and to complete your first brief.

And finally - the content of this site forms part of the contract we have with you. You should review it regularly but, if you decide to read nothing else, PLEASE read 'Completing a Brief'. It sets out everything you need to know to successfully complete work for us.

Quality Guidance

Our company trades on the basis of the quality of work it delivers to its customers. We are always improving our quality standards and we therefore insist that you make yourself aware of what we require of you. New and established researchers alike will benefit from reading through our guidance, which has recently been updated.

Quality pages on this site:

Types of Briefs
Understanding what is required for each type of assignment, and what quality you must provide for each level.

Completing a brief
A checklist of everything you need to know to successfully complete a brief (with links to more information if you need it).

Research skills and writing style
Some general guidance on writing great briefs.

Originality and plagiarism
What we accept/don't accept regarding use of other people's material.

Direct quotes
How to use them, and what level of direct quotes we will accept

Minimum number of sources
The minimum number of sources to be used when completing a brief.

Plagiarism

We recently increased the guarantee that we offer to our customers to a £5,000 plagiarism bond. As we operate as an agency, it is you, the writer, that provides this guarantee to the customer. If plagiarism is found in your work, you will be responsible to the customer for £5,000.

We trade on the strength of our guarantees, and on the quality and reliability of the work we deliver. It gives us no pleasure at all to see a researcher caught plagiarising other people's (or old) work. PLEASE therefore read through our detailed guidelines which spells out exactly what we class as plagiarism, and exactly how to avoid it. We have presented examples for you so you can see what we do, and do not, allow (click here).

Viper

Viper is our free plagiarism scanner which we advise all writers to use before they submit work to us. Click here to use Viper.
